Opening Pinfig the first time

Pinfig is signed but not yet notarized by Apple, so macOS asks you to allow it once.
  1. Open the .dmg and drag Pinfig to Applications.
  2. Open Pinfig. macOS says it can’t verify the app — click Done.
  3. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down to Security, and click Open Anyway next to “Pinfig was blocked”.
  4. Confirm with your password, then click Open Anyway again.
You only do this once; updates install on their own. On macOS 14 or earlier, Control-click Pinfig in Applications and choose Open instead.
