The short version
Pinfig is free to use. Your content is yours. We ask that you use the app reasonably and do not try to do anything harmful or illegal with it.
1. Using Pinfig
By downloading or using Pinfig you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Pinfig.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Pinfig.
2. Your content
Everything you create in Pinfig belongs to you. We do not claim any ownership over anything you create with Pinfig.
If you use optional sharing features, you give us a limited, temporary right to store and transfer that content — only for the purpose of providing those features to you. Nothing more.
3. What you can do
You can use Pinfig for personal, educational, or commercial use. The free tier has no expiration. Pro adds extra features.
The Organization tier includes a commercial use license — see your plan for details.
4. What you cannot do
Please do not:
- Use Pinfig to do anything illegal
- Upload or share content that harms or harasses others
- Use the service or parts of it in a way that is unauthorised or illegal
- Use the app to spread malware, spam, or fraudulent content
5. Subscriptions
Billing — subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, in advance.
Cancellation — you can cancel at any time. You keep access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
Refunds — we do offer refunds as required by law. If something goes wrong on our end, contact us and we will sort it out.
Price changes — if we change subscription pricing, we will give you at least 30 days' notice before it affects your subscription. You can cancel before the change takes effect if you do not want to continue.
6. Free tier
The core of Pinfig is free and we intend to keep it that way.
7. The app is provided as-is
Pinfig is still evolving. We do our best to keep it stable and useful, but we cannot guarantee it will be perfect or available 100% of the time.
Your local data is your responsibility to back up. We are not liable for data loss on your device.
Pinfig includes a local backup feature. Backups are stored on your device under .pinfig in your home folder. Do not rely on this as your only backup — we are not liable for data loss.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Pinfig is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of Pinfig — including data loss, service interruptions, or any other damages.
If you are a Pro or Organization subscriber and something goes wrong on our end, contact us and we will sort it out.
9. Termination
You can stop using Pinfig at any time by uninstalling it.
We can suspend or terminate access to subscriptions if these terms are seriously violated. We will tell you why unless legally prevented from doing so.
10. Changes to these terms
If we make significant changes, we will post a notice and give you at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that means you accept the new terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Pinfig operates.
